Drilling Tools
1. DTH Hammer Tool (Down-The-Hole Hammer Tool)
The power core of DTH drilling systems, connecting rigs and drill bits. Driven by high-pressure air, its piston delivers reciprocating impacts to break rock.
Key Features: High single-impact energy, stable penetration (unaffected by depth), good slag discharge, easy assembly/disassembly, underwater-drilling capability, low maintenance.
Classification: Low/medium/high-pressure series; φ71mm-φ181mm diameter (2-24 inch holes).
Applications: Hard rock drilling in mining, infrastructure, water conservancy, pile foundations—ideal for deep/complex geology.
2. Drill Bit
Direct rock-breaking component, working with DTH hammers and drill rods.
Key Features: Tungsten carbide inserts (HRC 55-60, wear-resistant); customizable insert/end-face designs; standard DTH interfaces (lossless energy transfer).
Matching Rules: Low-pressure rigs use 6-spline bits, high-pressure use 8-spline; diameter matches rod (e.g., φ34mm rod → φ55mm bit).
Applications: Geological sampling, mine blast holes, water wells, anchor holes—selected by stratum hardness.
3. Drill Rod
Connects rig power to DTH hammer/bit; acts as slag channel and load-bearing part for deep drilling.
Key Features: High-quality alloy steel (DZ50/R780, etc.); 42CrMoA joints (friction-welded, quenched); flat/tapered threads; customizable length (0.5m-1.5m).
Specs: φ34mm-φ89mm diameter, 5.0mm-9.38mm wall thickness; 100m-300m drilling depth.
Applications: Coal mine exploration, geology, mining, infrastructure—ensures power transfer and depth extension.
